That’s why we are committed, along with La Biblioteca, to supporting the youth of our community by donating 1 scholarship for every 2 that you, your friends, or family members donate, up to a total of $5,000 USD.
Together, we will fund 30 university students and ensure they have the resources needed to continue their studies, overcoming obstacles such as transportation costs, books, internet and educational materials.
We know that a university degree has the power to change the course of a life and we want to be part of that change.

MISSION AND COMMITMENT OF BIBLIOTECA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Biblioteca Pública AC Scholarship Program supports low-income students with scholarships and provide activities that broaden their educational aspirations and strengthen their community values.
Students are selected based on their economic situation and academic achievements. In addition to financial support, students receive mentoring through training activities that prepare them for real life, helping them complete their university degrees and become change agents in their communities.
50% of the scholarship students come from rural areas, and many of them are the first generation of graduates in their family or community.
Biblioteca Pública AC is a registered nonprofit organization in Mexico and the United States as a 501(c)3, making your donation tax-deductible in both countries.

MISIÓN Y COMPROMISO DEL PROGRAMA DE BECAS DE LA BIBLIOTECA
El Programa de Becas de la Biblioteca Pública AC apoya a estudiantes de recursos limitados mediante becas y actividades que amplían sus aspiraciones educativas y refuerzan los valores de su comunidad.
Los estudiantes son seleccionados en función de su situación económica y sus logros académicos. Además del apoyo financiero, los estudiantes reciben acompañamiento mediante actividades formativas que los preparan para la vida real, ayudándolos a completar sus carreras universitarias y convertirse en agentes de cambio en sus comunidades.
El 50% de los alumnos becados provienen de zonas rurales, y muchos de ellos son la primera generación de graduados en su familia o comunidad.
La Biblioteca Pública AC. es una organización registrada como donataria autorizada en México y en Estados Unidos como una 501(c)3, por lo que tu donativo es deducible de impuestos en ambos países.
